| Steventon is on the edge of the Berkshire Downs with the villages of
Drayton to the north, Milton to the east, Harwell to the south and East Hanney
to the west. Various footpaths to the Downs and surrounding area leave the
village. The Ridgeway is about two miles away. Steventon has all you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. |

| Some
half-timbered houses can be seen along the raised Causeway. This runs for about
a mile from the village green to the church and was built by Benedictine monks
from the local priory. All that is left of the priory is Priory Cottages - now
owned by the National Trust.
